On 8 January 2014, BII’s IEEE1888 Standard attracted great attention at the “Zhongguancun Standardization Promotion Conference 2014”, which was jointly sponsored by the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park and the Beijing Municipal Administration of Quality and Technology Supervision. IEEE1888 and IPv6 test, two standards of BII, were both included in Stories about the Standards of Zhongguancun which had its debut on site. Moreover, BII was the sole company who had concurrently two standards included in the book. Meanwhile, Zhongguancun Standard Innovation Service Center arranged on site an interview with BII’s CEO Liu Dong for such media as Xinhua News Agency, the Economic Daily, Beijing Daily, Beijing Business Today, Beijing People’s Broadcasting Station and China Electronics News. In the interview, Mr. Liu answered the questions about the international role and marketization promotion of IEEE1888 raised by the journalists.
