Yeti DNS Project

Initiated and launched by Beijing Internet Institute (BII), WIDE Project and TISF, a collaborative engineering and security project by American internet pioneer Paul Vixie, Yeti DNS is an experimental operation project based on new technical architecture of the IPv6 root system.

To benefit the development of the Internet as a whole, the proposal of the Yeti Project was formed to build an experimental live IPv6 DNS root system to discover the limits of DNS root name service and deliver useful technical output. Possible researchagenda will be explored on this testbed coveringseveral aspects (but not limited to those) shown in thefollowing -figure1.
